At the Little Brown Church we have designed three specific types of weddings, based upon the needs and desires of each couple.

 

“Just Us” – 15-20 Minute Wedding

This type of wedding is specially designed for couples who want a private wedding – bride and groom plus a maximum of two guests/witnesses. This allows couples the opportunity to have their wedding ceremony performed in a Christian church setting rather than the local courthouse. Special features of the “Just Us” weddings include:

  • Maximum 4 in wedding party (bride, groom, + 2 guests / witnesses). The church, if necessary, can supply witnesses.
  • Weekdays only.
  • A shorter, simpler ceremony (generally 15-20 minutes) with just the pastor present.
  • Dressing rooms, organist, special songs and ceremonies are not available
  • Professional photography is not allowed for this type of ceremony
  • Must be booked at least 7 days before the date of the ceremony
  • Payment in full is required at time of booking – no refunds are given.

“Keeping It Simple” – 30 Minute Wedding

This type of ceremony is designed for weddings with less than 30 guests (including the wedding party). Special features of the “Keeping It Simple” weddings include:

  • Weekdays & Saturdays
  • Requires to be booked at least 14 days before date of ceremony
  • Slightly shorter ceremony than the 60 minute “Alll The Frills” wedding
  • Church organist provided as part of cost
  • One special song during the ceremony (recorded only) – if requested
  • Dressing rooms (if requested) are available 30 minutes before the start of your ceremony and are included in the price
  • The church is specially decorated for the wedding
  • Due to time constraints personalized vows, special ceremonies are not available.
  • Because of the limits of time, Professional photography is only allowed during the actual ceremony. Additional photographs may we taken outside on the church grounds after the ceremony.

“All The Frills” – 60 Minute Wedding

This is the premium wedding ceremony at The Little Brown Church and is designed for weddings with more than 30 guests (including the wedding party) .  Special features of the “All The Frills” weddings:

  • Weekdays or Saturday
  • 1 hour wedding mandatory for weddings with over 30 guests
  • Requires to be booked at least 14 days before ceremony
  • Full wedding ceremony
  • Dressing rooms (if requested) are available 30 minutes before the start of your ceremony and are included in the price
  • The church is specially decorated for the wedding
  • Church organist provided as part of cost
  • One special song during the ceremony (recorded only) – if requested
  • Special ceremonies are available (Unity Cross or Sand) – if requested.
  • Personalized vows allowed (in addition to regular vows) – text must be submitted for the pastor’s approval 14 days before the date of the wedding
  • Professional photography is allowed in the sanctuary during and after the ceremony within the one hour time frame and thereafter on the church grounds
  • Extra time for photography may be requested at an additional cost

Pricing

Weddings & Vow Renewals

At the Little Brown Church we view vow renewals similar to weddings in that the time involved and the ceremony itself are almost identical. Therefore the cost for vow renewals is the same as a wedding.

“Just Us” (15-20 mins)

Cost: $125

Paid in full at time of reservation

 

Weekdays only

“Keeping It Simple” (30 mins)

Cost: $250

$125 Deposit should be paid within 3 days of approval of reservation. Balance paid at least 7 days prior to wedding date.

 

Weekdays & Saturday

“All The Frills” (60 mins)

Cost: $400

$200 Deposit should be paid within 3 days of approval of reservation. Balance paid at least 7 days prior to wedding date.

Weekdays & Saturday

*Additional Time (only for 60 min weddings) $50 per additional 30 minutes

Pastor’s Honorarium

  • An honorarium of $50 for the pastor should be given to the church secretary when checking in at the church on the day of your wedding/vow renewal ceremony.

Additional Fees

  • Witnesses $10 each witness (if requested)

Special Ceremonies

  • For “All The Frills” – 60 minute weddings we allow for special ceremonies such as Unity Cross or Sand as requested. Couples would be required to purchase and bring to the ceremony

PLEASE NOTE: 

  • The deposit is non-refundable. If you need to cancel and would like to reschedule your date, the deposit will be held on file for one year from the original date of deposit.
  • If deposit is not paid within 3 days of approval of reservation, your request will be cancelled and you will have to start the booking process again.
  • If balance payment is not received for “Keeping It Simple” and “All The Frills” ceremonies 7 days prior to the ceremony date, your ceremony will be cancelled.
